Last week we launched our latest anthology (The Habits Code) to Amazon Bestseller, using solely what I call an Amazon Funnel.
The idea is simple, instead of just selling your book on Amazon, and hoping the reader joins your list later, you create a funnel that incentivizes them to give you their email when they buy.
The benefits are pretty cool:
You make more book sales
You get a high percentage of the buyers’ emails
You add value right up front in the relationship
It encourages them to share the book (they will share your funnel and not the Amazon link)
It motivates partners to promote
It can always be changed to include upsells right away or in the future
Then I did a new test over the weekend (something I never tried before). I sent some paid book traffic to my funnel instead of Amazon.
It worked out great.
It isn’t rocket science, but I am holding an impromptu training/debrief on Thursday, March 20, 4pm EST. I will basically walk through what I did, and how I will change things next time.
There won’t be anything for sale at the end. But I will give those who attend a link to the priority waitlist to the software I will be using to run these funnels (and all of my other courses and funnels) from now on. It is pretty cool, and of course there is no obligation to do anything even if you join the waitlist.
I plan on Thursday training to be quick and impactful.
