How to get 8 Reviews this week for your book

*** For More: Check out https://www.youru.tv ***

Hi Blog,

One of the areas of book launching I have always struggled to provide in a Done For You solution for clients is …

GETTING BOOK REVIEWS.

I have been part of communities and courses that suggest creating a “launch team” and then inviting people to your launch team by giving them a free copy of your book.

Part of their agreement is to leave you an honest review.

The problem is, less than 50% ever do and they may not be that interested in your book.

Once you get going, getting organic reviews is really the best approach.

You can ask for reviews inside your book at the end, and further down the line in some sort of email sequence to those who get on your list.

But at the beginning, GETTING THOSE FIRST 5-10 POSITIVE REVIEWS IS KIND OF CRITICAL.

Once you get those initial good reviews, it gets hard for trolls to bring you down and creates a positive start to your book

So last week, I introduced to a service (actually a community) that is specifically set up to help you get Amazon reviews.

But here is the difference from other methods:

* You can ask for reviews, by posting your book in the community (but not to any specific person directly – this keeps you inside Amazon TOS). * The format of the community gives authors the ability to review others’ books, but since they have a choice, they will inevitably pick books they are interested in. Which makes for better and more focused reviews. * You never directly interact with the reviewer, but everyone else in the community are authors. Their only reason to be there is to give and receive reviews (and get introduced to books in topics they are interested in).

* This is a much more favorable situation than paying most services blindly for reviews from reader only types. * You pay for the community, and you receive community coins called “snaps” when you review books. You can spend those to post your book. * You can review 8 books per week, which means you can potentially get around 8 reviews (could be more or less, depends on the settings you choose) per week. * That could bring you around 32 reviews per month!

Check it out here, it is free for your first two weeks (fully functional). Then it is around $20 a month (month to month). This link will give you 15% off.

https://www.raybrehm.com/pubby [https://raybrehm.krtra.com/c/zBwhYaJ6rjlF/DGoV]

They will give you 2000 bonus “snaps” for signing up free. So, I was able to actually get 12 reviews in the first week (I started with 10 reviews a week ago). I will get around 8-10 more before I have to decide whether to pay for the service or not (I will, it is a no brainer at this point).

[16856250_1612578164ku6Screen_Shot_2021-02-05_at_7.21.57_PM.png]

You can cancel after you get reviews and before you pay (though I suspect you will want to stay enrolled because of what a great system and community this is).

See you there!

P.S. If you use my link, I will get some “snaps” and you will also get 15% off if you continue past two weeks.

It is definitely worth trying for free.

What The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe will teach you being an author

In early November, while visiting my mom in the house I grew up in, my son discovered my old box set of the C.S. Lewis classics, The Chronicles of Narnia.

So he and I started our adventure with The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. This is the story of little Lucy finding the world of Narnia in that wardrobe while playing hide and seek with her siblings.

The great news is I could not remember the story myself, having read it so many years ago.

So my son and I experienced it together.

That is the beauty of fiction. It is not hard to create something timeless. It was equally as enjoyable now as it was when I was younger.

By the end of the book, it was a given we were going to move on to Prince Caspian (book 2).

No convincing necessary.

We already loved the story, the writing and the world built in the first book.

We wanted more of it.

That is why I think it is every author’s secret dream to write fiction.

You can create your own worlds, your own heroes and villains, and tell your story. And you can make it timeless.

When readers come into your world, and like it, they want more of it.

No fancy marketing, or sales. All you have to do is provide the next quality story.

That is why I am with the release of: The Writer’s Craft 2.0 Super Stack.

Writer’s Craft 2.0 is your complete, A to Z resource to take your story from idea to publish-ready manuscript.

Whether you need help organizing your ideas and turning them into a published masterpiece…

…or you want to transform your hum-drum narrative into page-turning, award-winning fiction…

…or you want a system that can help you crank out 1,000 words a day (in less than an hour a day)…

Check out Writers Craft 2.0. If just one of the courses appeals to you, it is probably worth the investment.

Take a look inside the biggest deal of 2020 for fiction writers before it expires.

P.S. We have now read through about half of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which is the third book of The Chronicles of Narnia. At this point, it is a foregone conclusion we will read them all. No marketing or selling necessary. We are officially in the C.S. Lewis world.

This one is a great deal if you plan to write fiction.

Bestseller Book Launch for the New Author

There are rules for the 1%, and rules for the rest of us.

And while I don’t always agree with stances Amazon takes as a company, there is one thing for sure…

Amazon democratized book publishing.

They enabled you and I to publish our own books, without middlemen siphoning money off of our hard work, and they allowed us to do so without permission of gatekeepers.

For that, I am eternally grateful.

Otherwise, I would probably be stuck doing something I don’t like now.

Instead, I get to do what I love.

In the old days, you couldn’t even publish a book without someone giving you their blessing.

Now you can publish whatever you want in 24 hours.

Along with that, is the ability for any of us to make our books bestsellers on Amazon.

I will never forget when that first book got that banner.

I ran with my laptop and shoved it into the shower to show my wife I was so excited.

The beauty of it is that it not that complicated to do.

In fact, when people inquire about hiring me to launch their books for them, my first response is…

“You are completely capable of doing it yourself. You should only hire me if you don’t have time.”

If you have time, and haven’t developed your own system yet, you should.

Even if you haven’t written your book yet, you should learn the process. Once you realize you can and will launch as a bestseller, it gives you that much more motivation to finish your book.

What is Perpetual Marketing?

One of the most powerful things you can do for your book and/or your career is something I call perpetual marketing.

What is it?

A piece of marketing content that you create one time, that works on your behalf forever.

Oh yea, and it works for free. That means you don’t have to continue paying for it to work for you.

You probably know what I am getting at. When you create a book, it will work on your behalf forever (as long as you want it to).

That is why I am always finding ways to create more books. I find topics that need explaining or teaching, and I create a book.

At present, I have more book ideas sitting in a queue than I have time to produce. That is because completing an entire book yourself is hard work.

But books are one of the best ways to perpetually market I know.

So, what is the answer? Finding ways to get your name on books where you don’t have to do all the work.

I call it "crowdsourcing a book."

If you look at my Amazon Author Library (on Author Central), nearly a third of my books are the result of crowdsourcing. They are anthologies, or multi-author books.

Each one now works for me as a perpetual marketing source. And I didn’t have to do all the work.

Some of them I was the organizer (the harder part) and put the whole book together. Some of them I simply participated by writing a chapter (the easier way).

The great thing about these "crowdsourced" books is not only are they perpetual marketing sources, but the marketing of the book is crowdsourced as well.

Each of those books has multiple people advertising and sharing them with their respective audiences.

So you as one of the authors will have a perpetual marketing tool working for you, that has crowdsourced the marketing effort.

Oh, and by the way, it costs you nothing for the "perpetual marketing" part …

ongoing…and forever forward … to have all of this awesomeness.

You just have to find a book, and invest a little upfront in cost and effort.

It is a great way to add titles to your library, and add some perpetual marketing to your brand.

Learn how you can start perpetual marketing today here

Leap. Love. Grow.

Ray

My current anthology (perpetual marketing project) is The Wealth Code. The first one in the series, The Success Code, continues to hit bestseller without marketing. The three will be working together for perpetual marketing as well. 🙂

Right now we are accepting authors for The Wealth Code, check out the details (including the benefits of joining and the contribution amount) here.
